Frequently asked questions
Short answers about supported FACEIT pages, statistics, sign-in, moderation and privacy.
Where does CStatTrak display information?
CStatTrak adds information to CS2 Match Rooms, Clubs, the Parties page, matchmaking groups and player profiles. Some generic player cards may also be recognized, but these are not guaranteed when FACEIT changes its interface.
Why do Rating or Swing sometimes show a dash?
A dash means that there are not enough usable recent matches to calculate the statistic reliably. This is common for a new account or at the beginning of a season.
Why is FACEIT sign-in required?
FACEIT OAuth verifies the account linked to community feedback and prevents self-ratings or duplicate identities. CStatTrak never receives your FACEIT password.
Can I hide individual features?
Yes. Open the extension popup, then Options, to enable or disable match tools, player-card statistics, Match Room statistics and reputation features separately.
Does CStatTrak ban maps without confirmation?
When automatic map banning is enabled, CStatTrak follows your configured map order after the selected countdown. You can cancel the action before the countdown ends.
Why does CStatTrak request clipboard access?
Clipboard access is used only to copy the FACEIT server address when it becomes available and automatic copying is enabled.
How does community moderation work?
You can report feedback displayed on your own FACEIT profile from the player details in the extension. Reports are reviewed, and abusive, hateful, spam, fraudulent or deliberately misleading content may be removed. Personal comments remain visible only to their author.
For an additional moderation request, email contact.cstattrak@gmail.com.
How can I request access to or deletion of my data?
Email contact.cstattrak@gmail.com and include your FACEIT nickname. A reasonable identity check may be requested before data associated with an account is disclosed or deleted.
Is sponsored content enabled?
A clearly labelled sponsored panel may appear while CStatTrak has an active campaign. You can disable it in the extension settings. Some links are affiliate links; impressions and eligible clicks are counted as described in the privacy policy.
